A unique two bedroom villa with large private established garden  with wonderful south facing views of sea and mountains. Spacious lounge with wood burner, sofas, dining table and chairs, sat tv and air con in the lounge. Open plan kitchen with washing machine, oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. Double bedroom, twin bedroom, both with air con,  and two bathrooms with baths and showers.
Patio doors lead from lounge on to south facing covered terrace which leads on to the garden with private pool  7 x 4 metres - 1.80 metres in deep end and 1.30 metres in shallow end) and lovely sea views. There is also a roof terrace. Just 25 minutes walk to town and Burriana beach. There are also bars and restaurants close by and a supermarket as well. Buses also run regularly into town.
There is wi fi.  Air conditioning in the lounge and main double bedroom and  twin bedroom.

"We have stayed at this villa on several occasions and it never disappoints.By far it is our favourite in Nerja-a very spacious, well-kept and nicely furnished villa(I immediately noticed the new leather settees on arrival!), with amazing views over the Med from the terrace.
The villa has lovely home from home feeling and we always appreciate the quietness and total privacy.The garden and pool are great and not overlooked at all.
Our thanks to Wilma and Ralph who attended to a couple of very minor glitches very quickly.

Booking and information was straight forward and helpful.
Directions to villa were okay and obvious once we got there, though drove around a bit and no-one knew where it was, including the hotel receptionist where we collected the keys.
Villa was excellent and as described. As was the weather. Ralph was great - helpful and sorted a couple of hiccups. Shame we could only manage a week; maybe longer next time.

This was our second stay at Alhambra and again instantly felt relaxed and comfortable with our surroundings, though was surprised to find an additional bedroom has been built since last year ! Even though the original bedrooms have been reduced in size they are still spacious compared to a lot of other villas, light and comfort have not been compromised. Also built a brick BBQ which is an immense improvement from the kettle type. The only negative comment would be that access to spare towels would have been beneficial – especially if the existing towels are being washed or dried overnight. Everything else was the usual high standard and efficient service from all staff at Gill Johnson Holidays and resort.

This was our 2nd visit to Nerja and booking with your company and we can’t fault it! A beautiful, well equipped Villa, with lovely views and all amenities nearby. The hills take a little getting used to but other than that we would love to return to this Villa in the near future! We can’t recommend you or your accommodation enough, as I said previously this is our 2nd visit and 2nd Villa tried and we have not been disappointed on either occasion! The taxi service from Airport to Villa is prompt and reliable and there are good contacts with each Villa should you have any queries or need assistance. Location Information

Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing. However, the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town. The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach. However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer.
